As part of our aim to support the creation of careers pathways for fire risk assessors we recently launched the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA). This IFSM customised qualification teaches the basic underlying principles required to undertake fire risk assessments and is aimed at those starting out in their FRA career. The course has been passed over to and is now owned by Awarding Body in Building Environment (ABBE) and complements the Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications they already have.
Initially restricted to IFSM accredited training providers we would now like to open up the opportunity to other training providers and invite them to contact ABBE to find out how to deliver the course.
Members who are interested or know someone who would be interested in gaining this qualification please also refer to ABBE’s website who list all providers or our accredited training provider page.
