CFD Modelling Workshop Presentations

The first workshop run by the Institute since before the Pandemic ran to great acclaim at the University of Central Lancashire’s Engineering building. The institute welcomed back many long-time members, and new faces to the Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling for Fires Workshop. The workshop was supported by a range of great speakers, many of which will definitely feature at future events over the next few years.

At the event the speakers excelled providing a knowledge packed platform to both inspire and guide our members to become more involved in the CFD modelling of fires. Greater understanding of the CFD’s impact on varying materials used/specified, evacuation planning and the role of CFD within planning stage is an invaluable asset to our members and only goes towards improving our members’ knowledge and improving safety within the fire sector.
