August 30th, 2021, the blaze started in a 20-storey residential tower block in Milan. Seventy families lived there, all of them survived thanks to the quick reaction of firefighters. The fire consumed the entire facade of the building. Four years after the Grenfell incident, another tower in the EU ignited, hopefully with no death this time. But the question remains the same: how did this happen? Should we blame the lack of regulations?
