Terry is based in Sussex and provides fire risk assessments and fire safety consultancy across the UK through his involvement as a partner in Jamie Ballan Associates and BEFS LTd.Following a long career in fire detection and integrated fire safety systems working as a Technical Director and sitting on various industry technical steering groups Terry trained as a fire risk assessor in 2006.Since then Terry has been providing fire risk assessment and fire safety consultancy services to a wide range of clients in the commercial, retail and residential sectors.The scope of work currently covered includes Fire Risk Assessments, FRAEW reports, Fire Engineering and General Fire Safety Consultancy. Terry has been assessed as a competent fire risk assessor and validator under the BAFE SP205 scheme for complex buildings.
