Richard graduated with a first BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying at Salford University in 2008 and has since gained considerable experience. He has acted as designer, lead consultant, contract administrator and CDM-Coordinator/Principal Designer on many projects in various sectors, including health, education, commercial and leisure.Richard has progressed well since graduating University and in 2011 successfully passed the Assessment of Professional Competence and was elected to full membership of the RICS and has gained MRICS status.As well as extensive project work ranging from minor refurbishment works to schools (£35k) to large scale hospital projects (£1.8m), Richard has undertaken numerous asset management schemes in both the social housing and health sectors and is well experienced in the use of hand-held computers and tablets.Richard is well experienced with the CDM Regulations and now undertakes the Principal Designer role for numerous commissions. He provides valuable advice to Clients on their duties and how to ensure projects comply fully with the Regulations.Richard also undertakes a number of professional services including dilapidation surveys, condition surveys, building pathology inspections and Fire Risk Assessments. Richard has successfully passed the Exova Warrington FRACS Individual Scheme and is now a certificated fire risk assessor.Richard has obtained a number of qualifications, accreditations and attended numerous courses including:Level 3 Diploma for Domestic Energy Assessors BHOS P402 Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling Asbestos CDM 2015 Principal Designer Fire Risk Assessment Course accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers FRACS Certificated Fire Risk Assessor no. 63 Non-Domestic Energy Data Collection CSSC Health & Safety Construction Site Visitor card
