Adam is currently the director of AJ Fire and Security Ltd and has over 25 years experience in the fire protection industry.In addition to his personal Tier 3 certification, he oversees the company's BAFE SP205-1 certification and is the nominated validator.He is currently a member of the Fire Industry Association's (FIA) Fire Risk Assessment council. The Council comprises 15 elected members from FIA member companies, and the key role is to represent the collective views of this sector of the industry, including negotiation and discussion with government and other external bodies.As well as representing members’ interests, the Council monitors and influences the development of relevant standards, legislation and regulations, commissions research and provides guidance, training and support for Fire Risk Assessors.
