I specialise in fire safety and health and safety. My research area is the impact of high velocity human factors in safety critical domains. I am a Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner listed on the Occupational Safety & Health Consultants Register. Certified Fire Risk Assessor to BS EN 17024 – 2012. (FRACS). Through my consultancy Safety Concerns UK, I provide safety advice to clients operating in risk critical areas such as DSEAR compliance and risk assessment and fire risk assessment in complex buildings where by nature of there size, complex processes or hazards, the fire precautions, management system and fire protection systems cannot be easily verified for compliance operability or effectiveness.
