A fire industry professional with 38 years of experience in both senior leadership, operational and training roles. Passionate about Fire Safety. A team player and inspirational leader of people with extensive experience of fire safety including an expert witness in court. FRACS registered No. 076, and senior FRACS assessor, Tier 3 NAFRAR 0184, Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers. I was the author of the first version of the National Competency Framework for Business Safety Regulators. A strong communicator with significant exposure to stakeholder management within public and private industry bodies. Outside of the fire industry, the Chair of the Governing Board for a local Outstanding Primary school, a team member on the IFE Membership Application Assessment Panel (MAAP) and treasurer of the Manchester Branch of the IFE.
