Ian is the Director of Caledonian Fire Safety Solutions Ltd based in Scotland and became the first U.K.A.S. Third Party Accredited fire risk assessor in Scotland in 2018 via Warrington Certification (FRACS) scheme.Caledonian Fire Safety Solutions Ltd offers a comprehensive range of services to support clients via bespoke Third Party Accredited Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Inspections, Passive Fire Surveys, Fire Safety Awareness / Fire Warden Training and Fire Safety Policies and Procedures.Previously Ian has worked with the Scottish Fire and Rescue for 11 years involved with both the practical and technical elements of fire safety. Ian also previously worked as a Branch Manager for Citi-Financial one of the worlds largest financial institutions, duties involved in the underwriting of secured and personal finance loans and providing related insurance products for over 7 years. A career spanning over 20 years full of experience evaluating risk, underwriting and detailed reporting.Ian has combined his skillsets toward his chosen career path in Fire Safety Management with all of his accreditations and qualifications being attained via self development.Ian is focused on providing an assured standard of competence and best service throughout all stages applied with good old fashioned common sense whilst working to the most current standards within fire safety management.
