Biography

I am a highly skilled and accredited life and fire safety professional with extensive experience in life safety risk assessment, fire safety engineering, and fire risk assessment validation.

Recognised by the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) as an Accredited Life Safety Risk Assessor since 2017, I bring a deep understanding of complex fire safety principles and regulatory compliance to every project.

As a BAFE SP205 Validator, I have been independently assessed and listed on the SSAIB Register, consistently meeting stringent competency requirements. My role involves ensuring fire risk assessments are validated objectively and in compliance with industry standards.

Since 2020, I have also been included on the Tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register (Tier 3), certifying my ability to carry out assessments on high-risk and complex buildings.

With a technical track record spanning diverse property archetypes, including high-rise – high risk tower blocks, care homes, student accommodation, specialised housing, heritage properties, and more, I offer tailored solutions to meet both regulatory and safety demands.

My expertise extends across all British Standard fire safety documents (e.g., BS 5839, BS 9999, BS 9991), guidance for older buildings (e.g., CP3 CH4 1962 and 1971) plus others, and modern compliance frameworks like Approved Document B, Purpose-Built Flats Guide, Specialised Housing, and LACoRs.

I combine my engineering background, technical knowledge, risk based approach and qualifications to address fire safety challenges effectively while maintaining a commitment to excellence in life safety.
