Neil holds the following post nominals: EngTech MIFireE MIFSM ACMI.Neil is the owner of KeloScape Fire Consult Ltd and has extensive experience of conducting Fire Risk Assessments for a diverse range of premises and organisations, including large sites & complex buildings.Neil holds The CFPA Europe Advanced Diploma in Fire Safety Management and continues to follow a professional development pathway by attending regular IFSM, IFE and other fire safety seminars and courses. Neil also holds the NEBOSH General Certificate and has been in several roles that provided Fire and Safety advice.Neil conducts Fire Safety, Specialist & Technical Consultancy for buildings large & small, from residential property projects deviating from standard codes of practice to desktop new build design stage appraisals.Neil carries out work for large & well known organisations in the construction industry, care organisations, housing organisations, commercial & industrial clients, the hospitality & leisure businesses and the retail sector.Neil works in an area extending from the Midlands south to Somerset & Devon and from South Wales and across to London with occasional ventures outside of this range.Neil has also provided various training packages, including basic fire safety awareness and warden training to corporate, local authority and NHS audiences.Neil’s fire career began in industry with ICI and DuPont where he was a shift leader of the site fire service.Following restructuring and 22 years’ service, Neil moved into another industry Fire and Safety position and began to gain his professional qualifications. Neil went on to spent five years as the Fire Risk Officer for Gloucestershire County Council before moving to the University of the West of England, (UWE) as a Health and Safety Fire Advisor.Neil left UWE to join the Fire Protection Association at Fire Service College and led a team to achieve the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold award and BAFE SP205 accreditation for Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment.Neil followed his aim of becoming self-employed in May 2014 and formed KeloScape Fire Consult in June of the year steadily increasing workload and making a success of the business.
