I am an active Fire Risk Assessor with over 35yrs of wide-ranging experience in the industry. I work throughout the UK and have completed over 1300 fire risk assessments with over 450 for care related properties. I hold a level 4 certificate qualification as a fire risk assessor and have successfully completed the level 3 ASFP Foundation course in Passive Fire Protection. I have worked with one of the Country’s leading care providers and have advised on their behalf in national forums for the fire industry, including; • Committee member for the creation of: NFCC Fire Safety in Specialised Housing Guide 2017. • Fire Industry Association; consolidating guidance for active fire protection measures in sheltered and other special housing. • Consultee for the revision of BS 9991. • Consultee for the review of the Perceived Insights (enforcers guidance).I am committed to my professional development and in 2022 I achieved a MSc in Fire Engineering with the University of Central Lancashire.
